The most important ones are: ### **Managing Incoming WhatsApp Messages in a Shared Inbox** All incoming WhatsApp messages are automatically directed to the shared inbox in HubSpot. This way, the entire team can easily monitor messages and respond to them, minimizing the risk of missing important communications and ensuring quicker responses to customer inquiries. ### **Tracking Customer Information via HubSpot CRM** HubSpot CRM allows tracking all interactions with customers from their records, including messages sent and received through WhatsApp. This gives marketing and customer service teams a complete picture of communication history with each client, facilitating personalization and tailoring future actions. ### **WhatsApp Message Templates and Personalization Using HubSpot CRM Data** In HubSpot, you can create WhatsApp message templates. Creating a Custom View for WhatsApp Messages: 1. In the bottom left corner, click the dropdown menu "Actions" and select "Create View". 2. In the right panel, enter "WhatsApp" as the channel name and click "Next". 3. In the "Filter Type" section, select "Conversation Properties". 4. In the search bar, type and select "Source". 5. Click the dropdown menu "is any of" and search for and select "WhatsApp". 6. Click "Apply Filter" and then "Create View". To use it, you must also have or create a WhatsApp Business account. ### Limitations When using WhatsApp through HubSpot, keep in mind a few limitations due to WhatsApp Business's properties and the integration itself. - **WhatsApp Business Account Required**: Integration is possible only for WhatsApp Business accounts. Due to Meta's requirements, you cannot connect a personal WhatsApp account with HubSpot. Historical conversations will not be synchronized. - **Access to Messages**: Once integrated with HubSpot, messages will no longer appear in the mobile or web WhatsApp app. They will only be available in the conversation inbox on your HubSpot account. - **Incoming Call Handling**: You cannot receive incoming WhatsApp calls on the number used for integration with HubSpot due to WhatsApp API limitations.
